SCTDD Announces Promotion of Lorie Fisher to Senior Community and Economic Development Program Director

The South Central Tennessee Development District (SCTDD) is pleased to announce the promotion of Ms. Lorie Fisher to Senior Community and Economic Development Program Director as part of the organization’s ongoing senior management restructuring.
Ms. Fisher has served SCTDD with distinction for more than 40 years, contributing unmatched expertise and leadership to community and economic development initiatives across the region. She currently oversees approximately $140 million in projects supported by multiple funding sources, demonstrating her exceptional capacity for program management and strategic development.
Executive Director Paul Rosson praised Ms. Fisher’s promotion, stating, “She is without a doubt one of the best in the nation at what she does.” Throughout her career, Ms. Fisher has written and administered millions of dollars in grant funding for the 13 counties within the SCTDD service area, helping communities secure critical resources and drive long-term growth.
