SCTDD Announces Promotion of Sydney Brewer to Director of Marketing and Communications

The South Central Tennessee Development District (SCTDD) is pleased to announce the promotion of Ms. Sydney Brewer to Director of Marketing and Communications for the District.
Ms. Brewer has served SCTDD in various communications and outreach capacities, where she has played a key role in increasing public awareness of the District’s programs, services, and regional initiatives. In her new role, she will oversee marketing strategy, public relations, digital communications, and stakeholder engagement across the District’s 13-county service area.
Executive Director Paul Rosson praised Ms. Brewer’s promotion, stating, “She has shown exceptional talent and skill during her time here at the District. Through her work, she has effectively showcased the many services and projects offered by SCTDD and highlighted the positive impact we make across the 13 counties we serve. Her leadership and creativity will continue to strengthen our connection with local governments, partners, and the communities we support.”
Ms. Brewer holds experience in strategic communications, content development, and public engagement, and has been instrumental in elevating the District’s brand and visibility throughout South Central Tennessee. “I am grateful for the opportunity to step into this role and continue serving the region,” said Brewer. “SCTDD does important work every day, and I look forward to further sharing our story and strengthening our outreach to the communities we serve.”
The South Central Tennessee Development District provides regional planning, economic and community development, and aging and disability services to local governments and residents throughout South Central Tennessee.
