SOUTH CENTRAL AREA AGENCY ON AGING is the organization designated by
the Tennessee Commission on Aging to develop a comprehensive and coordinated community based system in South Central Tennessee to serve and represent people who are sixty years of age or older. The role of the AAA is to serve as advocates for the elderly population and to establish awareness of this role before the public and other organizations.

The Area Agency's mission is to assure that the 60+ population in this thirteen county district have the opportunity to realize their full potential and to participate completely in community life, work opportunities, and to receive appropriate support services as needed to maintain their independence as long as possible.
